@racheleechele lol 400 blows is that a porno
there are albums i download illegally and there are albums i actually go buy. This is one those albums i bought
love that story
The moment I heard the Truffaut reference, I was HOOKED on this song. The 400 Blows is my favorite film of all time (I have to constantly explain that it’s not a porno). And upon further listenings, I connected with his story, particularly the part about the girl throwing rocks at his head in third grade. I have a nice dent on my forehead from this boy named Wardell who smacked me in the head with a rock in second grade. :-/
@SmokingKills1993 Agreed. He said the story wasn’t written by him though.
This is how rap used to be. Talking about real shit. This is how rap should be.
usually when i listen to a song where they for 3-4 mins i just listen to the music and skip but the talking but with this song i cant help but listen to the whole thing everytime
@qwerty41748
He actually got the name from a Wu-Tang name generator. It fits though.

is the music his original? i swear ive heard it in a kanye song ;p but i could be wrongg
Childish Gambino, J. Cole, Lupe> Every single other hip hop artist.
@koolkev116 Check out 1. Kanye West - Last Call 2. Nas ft. Olu Dara – Jungle Jay 3. N.E.R.D – Waiting for you (2nd half of Wonderful Place)
amazing way to end the album
damn
@bearclaw792 i agree sir, people need to appreciate and acknowledge the old glover to understand the present glover.
@LilTreyDeezy And Hopsin
@cheezlog33 I gotta disagree on that. Despite what gets played on the radio, J. Cole is a very conscious rapper and is real talented. The Come Up, The Warm Up, and Friday Night Lights were all hot mixtapes. And Lupe raps about what’s real too. Lasers could’ve been better but his past tracks on albums and mixtapes were all great.
This song speaks on his character and why he give himself the name Childish Gambino especially the dialogue he never got off the bus so that childish behavior is still in him.
@bearclaw792 They didn’t…. -_- they were ass.
People over here saying Childish Gambino came out of nowhere! Apparently the EP, Culdesac, I Am Just A Rapper 1 and 2, Pointdexter and Sick Boi never happened!
Childish Gambino came out of nowhere and just blew up the scene!!!! XD
I actually listened to that story…..it was pretty deep, Childish Gambino goes HAM
@cheezlog33 disagree
@LilTreyDeezy Except that J. Cole and Lupe blow…. Gambino is probably the only current mainstream rapper that’s actually talented.
His voice is so soothing at the end. It should be on those tapes people use to relax/go to sleep.
